JCD Prabhakar, TVK MLA, was unanimously elected as the Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker on Tuesday. Prabhakar was elected from the Thousand Lights constituency in the 2026 Assembly elections, defeating Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) candidate Ezhlian Naganathan.
