Drug trafficking and peddling in Jaipur are increasingly being dominated by millennials, according to the city police's ongoing crackdown known as "Operation Clean Sweep." The analysis of the operation's results revealed that young people aged 18 to 25 and 26 to 40 are the most active participants in drug peddling. The highest number of arrests were made in the age group of 26 to 40, with 841 males and 167 females apprehended. The police also reported that drugs are predominantly consumed by impoverished and unemployed youth, with different narcotics preferences among different socio-economic groups.
