Imran Khan faces ‘end of the road’ as Pak army cracks down

Pakistan’s military is leading a crackdown against Imran Khan's political party, resulting in more than 10,000 people linked to Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek—e-Insaf (PTI) being arrested and several of its leaders being jailed. The military’s goal is to cut the increasingly popular Khan down to size ahead of Pakistan’s next elections, due in October at the latest.
