After 53yrs, Maha water project opens tomorrow, cost up 655-fold

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and his deputy, Devendra Fadnavis, will inaugurate the canal network of Nilwande dam on Wednesday, 53 years after the project was conceived to mitigate water scarcity in the six parched talukas of Ahmednagar and one part of Sinnar in Nashik.
