A special POCSO court on Tuesday convicted and sentenced a 40-year-old labourer to life imprisonment for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in his neighbourhood during coronavirus lockdown, while the child's mother, a hospital worker was at work. The child too was home as physical schools were closed due the lockdown.
