Assam airdrops food, Tripura eyes supply via B'desh

Assam continues to battle with floods and landslides triggered by ‘large excess’ pre- monsoon rain that has hit 29 of 33 districts, forcing the authorities to airdrop food and essentials in Dima Hasao and shut educational institutes in Cachar — the two worst-hit districts.
