Director Shakti Samanta’s iconic movie ‘Amar Prem’ released 50 years ago on January 28, 1972. All its evergreen songs and Rajesh Khanna’s dialogue ‘Pushpa, I hate tears,’ have earned a cult status over the years. It is still fresh in the minds of cinema-buffs.
