Omicron scare: K'taka to impose 10-day night curfew from Dec 28

The Karnataka government on Sunday decided to clamp a 10-day night curfew from December 28 and restrict entry to hotels, bars, pubs and movie halls to 50%, in view of the surge in Omicron cases. All commercial activities will be shut between 10pm and 5am from Tuesday. The occupancy will be limited to 50% of the total seating capacity of hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs and movie halls.
