1st Omicron case detected in Delhi after Tanzania returnee tests +ve

Delhi on Sunday reported its first case of the Omicron variant. The patient, admitted to the LNJP Hospital in the capital, had returned from Tanzania, Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain said. This is the fifth case of Omicron in the country. The WHO has classified Omicron as a 'variant of concern'.
