The Rahul Dravid era of coaching in Indian senior men's cricket began with an emphatic 3-0 series win in the T20I series vs New Zealand. That was followed by a draw in the first Test against the Black Caps. The hosts looked like they were going to win the encounter in Kanpur, before the Kiwi tailenders and bad light combined to deny them a win. Despite a few hiccups, individual player form etc, Team India overall ticked most of the boxes on a track that was not a rank turner.
