Nipah in Kerala: 5 dists in K'taka on high alert

Five districts in Karnataka have been put on high alert after Nipah virus resurfaced in neighbouring Kerala. The state health and family welfare department on Tuesday issued an advisory directing special focus on surveillance and preparedness in districts bordering Kerala — Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Mysuru, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar.
