Gangsters being welcomed by political parties: HC

The Allahabad high court on Tuesday expressed its concern over the trend of political parties welcoming gangsters and criminals involved in organized crime and painting a Robinhood image of them, adding “many a time, political parties give such criminals tickets to contest elections and they win, too”.
